LA 280 DESIGN COMMUNICATIONS 1 DIGITAL TRACE (20 points) 

ASSIGNED: Friday October 22 DUE: Monday October 25, end of class (upload to Box)

Insert your 10” x 10” Photoshop collage into AutoCAD and ensure it is 1-to-1 scale in model space. Trace the elements of your collage using different lineweights, linetypes, and hatches, assigning each object to its appropriate layer. Remember, this is an interpretation: you can abstract elements and adjust the composition as you see fit.

Create an 11x17 layout with one viewport, scaled 1:1. Make sure your image is turned off and you have assigned the pen styles you want to use. Plot a single PDF and upload it to Box by the end of class on Monday 10/25.

Your final sheet should be 11x17 inches and your image should be 10” x 10” on the page.
