OVERVIEW

Occurring in the final year of the Bachelor of Science in Sustainable Design (BSSD) program, this fall-semester seminar acts as a capstone project preparation course. Students are introduced to research themes, methods, and techniques related to sustainable design. A series of short units throughout the term focus on different design research methods, preparing students to develop their own projects in the spring semester Capstone Studio.

MATERIALS

Readings will be made available in PDF or online link format on the unit pages below. Throughout the semester, students may need to install software (available through the university Webstore) or purchase other materials intermittently. Specific instructions will be given with individual assignments.
